Fixed deposit in the name of the child

Children below the age of 10 years will be given admission in the form of Day Scholar in the nearest Kendriya Vidyalaya or Private School.
If the children are admitted in a private school, the fee will be paid from the PM Care Fund as per the rules of Right to Education.
Expenses on their school uniforms, books and notebooks will also be paid for.
Help for higher education – government decision for children orphaned
Children will be helped to take loans for professional courses or higher education in India as per the current education loan norms.
As an alternative, such children will be given a scholarship equivalent to a bachelor’s or professional course fee or tuition fee under a central or state government scheme.
Children who are not eligible under the current scholarship scheme will get a similar scholarship from PM Cares.
